ABOUT DR. KARMA HILL – The Scholar Behind the Work

I’m Dr. Karma Hill — a business psychologist, positive psychology researcher, and burnout prevention strategist dedicated to reimagining leadership through wholeness, equity, and restoration.

My work lives at the intersection of science and soul. I explore how leaders can transform burnout into breakthrough, and how organizations can build cultures where people are both well and effective. Through two decades of experience in psychology, coaching, and organizational consulting, I’ve learned that sustainable success is born not from constant striving — but from intentional rest, resilience, and renewal.

As the creator of the REST™ Framework (Resilience, Emotional Intelligence, Self-Care, and Trust), my mission is to help leaders and systems evolve beyond burnout culture toward human-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed ways of working.

Whether I’m conducting research, speaking on stages, or mentoring other coaches, my approach bridges academic insight with lived experience — weaving evidence-based science with powerful storytelling. I believe leadership is both an internal practice and a collective responsibility.

Ultimately, my purpose is simple yet profound:
to help people flourish from the inside out — as leaders, teams, and communities.
